Why do we join? Is it to bond with others who have some of the same interest, to find life-long friendships; Yes, and then some; we as women love the bond.
If you join, why not do what is expected of you? Why join if you’re not able to do what is asked of you? Why is it so difficult to follow the rules and regulations? All Clubs, Groups & Organizations have rules but some members are so slack that they feel rules don’t apply to them. If you don’t want to be under such rules then why did you sign up? I personally can not stand it when only a handful of members are putting in the required time and effort when you have others who are just taking up space and being lazy. If you choose to join in, then do all that is requited of you to make your Club, Group & Organization grow; if you’re not the solution; then you are the problem.
Joining anything can be scary if you don’t know anyone but rest assure everyone has been that person at some point. Didn’t you join to revolve; to find your place? Then stop sitting on the sidelines being nonproductive.
If you join any Club, Group & Organization and they have fees, other requirements then please abide by the rules. Stop with excuses of why you can’t when you know you can. Some people just join things to make their resumes look better or their social calendars look fuller; don’t do that. If you are not serious about it then exit stage left and be someone else’s problem.
I hope this does offend those who are guilty because I was addressing you; for those who are being cooperative in your Clubs, Groups & Organizations I applaud you.
